Paula Ardelean was recognized as the 2022 School of Business Alumna of the Year. Paula graduated from MC with a B.S.B.A Accounting in 1983. She then obtained her J.D. from the University of Mississippi in 1986. As an attorney with Butler Snow, Paula has represented employers throughout the United States. In 2022, Best Lawyers in America named her Management’s Lawyer of the Year in Employment Law.
Paula is a fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. She received the Mississippi Bar Young Lawyer Division President’s Award for Public Service and later served as president of the division. She also served on the governing body of the Labor and Employment Section of the American Bar Association. She currently serves on the executive board of the Andrew Jackson Council, Boy Scouts of America, and the MC School of Business Advisory Board. Paula has participated in the Women in Business Success on Track Mentorship Program at Mississippi College where she has been an excellent mentor to our students.
