Marcelo Eduardo

Dr. Marcelo Eduardo earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and M.B.A. from Delta State University and a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Mississippi. He began teaching at Mississippi College in 1997 and, in just four short years, rose from associate professor of finance to chair of the business administration department to associate dean to dean of the School of Business. In the decade since, he has taken his vision for the School of Business from mind’s eye to an impressive reality. Under Eduardo’s tenure, Self Hall has undergone a multimillion-dollar overhaul that included a renovated auditorium, modernized classrooms, and state-of-the-art technical equipment, and the School of Business has recruited an outstanding faculty and provided them with the motivation and tools they need to take the School of Business to a higher level.
